Location & Description. Woodland Lake is a small lake but has been called the 'Crown Jewel" of Pinetop-Lakeside AZ. It is convenient to both residents and vacationers to the Pinetop-Lakeside area in the Arizona White Mountains Region. It sits at an elevation of 6,892 feet which makes for ideal temperatures during early spring, summer and early fall. The lake is part of Woodland Park which closes at 8:00 PM daily. There are no campground facilities. The nearest campground is Lakeside Campground on Highway 260 about a 1/4 mile west of Porter Mountain Road in Lakeside.
